Deviation Gallery Changes

Tue Dec 8, 2009, 10:05 PM
So...it took a little while, but I've changed all (or most) of my deviations.

I realized that my gallery was kind of ugly today, so after much deliberation over what to do, I've changed all of my images to have thin black borders along the two lognest sides of each image.

I think it looks much more coherent and organized now  (even though it's actually not haha)

New book is on the go, but postponed for a while, as I need to find some inspiration (which is hard during exam time).

That's about it, haha!

Journal Entry: Mon Nov 9, 2009, 7:12 PM
So.....thought I'd update my journal just because there are free skins for a while. I like this one

My bow is a bit too small for me now so I'm thinking of getting a new one; a horse bow from Nomadic Arts Archery in Toronto - they can get Kassai bows in (bow of Kassai Lajos, great horse archer) so I'm looking into that right now. =P Hoping my book will sell well now that we have distribution. If not, that's ok, but it would help with the new bow because it will probably be $250-300, and arrows are about $9 each.

Anyways, that's it.

See you all.

Thank You + Guitar + Explanation

Wed Oct 7, 2009, 3:41 PM
Part I: Thank you

Alright, so, I'll explain myself here because I've had some comments on it recently and in the past. Some of you may have noticed that I try to thank you guys for every single fav, and I reply to every single comment. It's a thing I do, and I plan to continue doing it because I think it's the right thing to do, even if I've already thanked you fifty or so times before

Recently I came back after ignoring my inbox after a while and I deleted alot of the messages I had without thinking simply because I was tired and I didn't want to thank every single person (there were many many favs and comments) so to you all, thank you, and sorry for not keeping up with my messages. I hope that this journalized thank you will do. =P

Part II: Guitar

You may be asking yourself why I'm dividing this journal into three parts as if it's a book or a story or something. The honest truth is, I have no idea, and it really has no significance whatsoever. However! I will tell you that it may or may not have something to do with the book cover I recently uploaded which happens to be the cover for my next book (which is temporarily on hold, as I break and write something else for a few days). :paranoid:

But! That has nothing to do with a guitar, so I'll let you know what I intended to say in this part. I needed a new obsession, so I'm learning to play the guitar. My fingers are in very much pain right now but hopefully I'll develop some callouses soon so that I can play pain-free. The guitar I bought is a black round-back Lumanog acoustic (I've heard acoustic is harder to play, but that's where I'm starting).

Part III: Explanation

You may also have noticed that I've stopped journaling! Well, I'm back. I'm bored with the other websites which I'm active on now so I'm focusing more on dA and just trying to forget about those other websites (sGFX, Dreamevil Concepts, etc.). Not entirely, but to a certain degree. So you can probably expect some more regular journals...

And I think that's all for now. I haven't had a chance to process my new photos, but I will do it this weekend (busy week with classes) and will upload them when they're done. :D

That's all for now.
